By installing or using Clipjar, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension.

What Clipjar does

Clipjar lets you mark a start and end timestamp on a YouTube video and generate a shareable link that plays that segment. Clip links are public — anyone with the link can view the clip.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Clipjar to:

Share clips of content you do not have the right to share
Distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
Attempt to overload, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service
Automate clip creation in a way that abuses the API or circumvents rate limits
Use the service for any purpose that violates YouTube's Terms of Service

Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for the clips you create and share. Clipjar does not review user-generated clips and is not liable for content shared through the service.

If you believe a clip infringes your copyright, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.

No warranties

Clipjar is provided as-is, without any warranty of availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Shared links may break if the underlying YouTube video is removed or restricted.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these terms, without notice.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Clipjar after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
